Lieutenant-General Kenneth Edward Lewis CMM, CD (c. 1930–1990s) was a Canadian air force general who was Commander, Air Command in Canada from 1980 to 1983.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=The Ottawa Journal from Ottawa, · Page 3 )〕 ==Career== A native of Ponoka, Alberta,〔ACROSS CANADA Air force commander to retire The Globe and Mail (Ont ) 26 Jan 1983: P.9.〕 Lewis joined the Canadian Air Force in the late 1940s and, after graduating from the Royal Military College of Canada, trained as a pilot. He became Commandant of the Royal Roads Military College in 1968 and, after serving in various senior staff positions, became Deputy Commander NORAD in 1978〔(A Brief History of Norad, p. 35 )〕 and Commander, Air Command in 1980 before retiring in 1983.〔(A long forgotten piece of history ) The Voxair, 17 Wing Winnipeg, 17 June 2009, p. 5〕 In retirement he became President of The Aerospace Industry Association of Canada.〔(The Week In ) The Contact Newspaper, CFB Trenton, 2005〕 He died of prostate cancer in the 1990s.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Air Force Blue )〕
